Open data search helps users ask what public datasets exist around a location or project area, rather than checking each provider portal individually.
How it works
- Draw a point, line, polygon, or rectangle directly on the map.
- Upload a WGS84 GeoJSON, GeoPackage, or zipped Shapefile AOI.
- Search matching open datasets grouped by theme, including licensing, infrastructure, geophysical, geotechnical, seismic, bathymetry, hazards, geology, protected areas, and habitats.
- View provider links, source attribution, useful feature attributes, and PDF/report outputs where available.
Account-gated features
Map viewing and short searches are available without an account. Exporting geospatial data, saving AOIs, viewing search history, and subscribing to update notifications require sign-in.
